If only I knew what I was walking into that fine sunny day when I drove back from Montana.

God really is full of surprises.

Yet, why do his gifts turn to confusion? Why do I second guess his blessings? Because aren’t gifts usually something good? No one gives a gift that will hurt a loved one. No one blesses their child with confusion and brokenness. So Father, I need to know if this is a gift. Is this a blessing, or a curse? For I do not know.

only two more days in this place i have called home for almost three years now.

i love it here. the big sky. the lake. my friends.

but the thing i love most about this place is that i met Jesus here. this is where i fell in love.

i will always remember lakeside.

Jesus, help me to have realistic expectations and an open heart. i will see you there:)

as he teaches me, i open my ear to heaven and beg for a voice, a whisper that will clear this confusion.

be still and know that I am God.

that is my prayer. from the depths of my soul i want to know Him more intimately than the day before. his love i long for, his breath forever satisfies.
